Disorder in our lives can manifest as chaos all around us, suppressing our potential, happiness and freedom. Almost always, the problem isn’t actually the clutter itself – the problems are the habits, beliefs and circumstances that create the clutter. Only when we solve for those can the rest of our lives become tidy.
Combining my expertise as a KonMari organizational consultant, public health expert and mindfulness guide, I offer a full range of services for home, self and work to help individuals and businesses create new habits for sustainable order and organization that translate to increased health, mindfulness, productivity and joy. All Decluttered services are available both in person and virtually.
Declutter spaces throughout your home that are creating stress and learn to organize in a way that brings more calm and intentionality into your life. Together, we’ll transform your home into an orderly environment where you feel calm and peaceful. Throughout the process, you’ll learn to maintain these new systems by changing your behavior to prioritize what’s truly important for your home.
According to the KonMari Method, your space should feel like the person you’re becoming, not the person you used to be. We’ll design and curate your space based on your personal vision and organizational needs. Using your vision of how you want your home to feel and the joy unearthed during the decluttering phase, I’ll craft mood boards and shopping lists based on selections for furnishings and fixtures, with a priority placed on space planning. Your style will be reflected in every corner and on every shelf, and organized in a way that can be easily maintained.
(For established clients only.)
After we’ve decluttered the physical things in your home, we’ll make sure everyone who lives and works in the space can maintain the new systems so your vision can flourish. I’ll prepare a customized plan to maintain natural organization and flow over time, with written protocols and training that support the desired behavior change and outcome in your home. Plans include schedules for maintenance and the purchasing of household supplies, photos of closet organization, and other established systems unique to your environment.
(For established clients only.)

Using the KonMari Method as a Tool in our Battle against
While the process of decluttering can feel like work in the beginning, it’s far less strain than leading a life weighed down by things you don’t need or love.
Our work begins with visualizing what your ideal space would look like and what you want to be able to do there. What does your dream bedroom look like? What paint color makes you feel alive? What kind of furniture inspires and relaxes you? What would an ideal weekday morning look like for you? When we have a defined vision of where we want to go, it energizes us to work toward our goal.
Things get hands-on when we begin to sort through your space. Following the KonMari Method, we put everything from one category in a pile in the center of a room and sort out which items bring you joy – and which no longer do. It’s that easy – and sometimes that hard. (But I’m here to coach you the entire way.)
As we work through the pile, slowly the number of items you thought you needed in your life decreases and you begin to feel the freedom of being surrounded only by things you love. We then take those valuable items and carefully curate the space of your dreams. I use my signature Systems & Style Planning method to help you design your space based on your personal vision and organizational needs.
Your style is reflected in every corner and on every shelf, and it’s organized in a way that’s human-centered just for you so it can be easily maintained.
There’s a powerful connection between our homes and our health. When we’re surrounded by clutter, we feel the weight of that clutter inside ourselves. Similarly, when we feel stressed and overwhelmed, our environment often reflects our inner imbalance. Because our internal and external experiences are directly connected, the powerful truth is, when we change one, we change the other.
When we minimize clutter and eliminate anything we don’t need, love or value in our home environment, we establish a foundation for awareness, calm and ease. As we peel away the layers and begin to establish new systems of order, we also assess and adjust outdated habits and patterns that cause stress and disorder. By approaching organization holistically, we create a foundation for healthy, balanced, peaceful living.
Mindful and personal, my process is grounded in the KonMari Method™ of tidying up and informed by a deep understanding of how the built environment impacts our health and well-being. While the result of our work can be seen all around you, my unique approach addresses the unseen root causes of overwhelm and excess.
I’ve worked with community health workers, politicians and hospital administrators to create behavioral change programs for health and wellness settings around the world. In each case, I prioritized the patient experience, ensuring the programs were designed to meet patient needs and align with scientifically proven best practices. I bring the same compassionate and analytical approach to my work with my clients – using proven methods to achieve lasting results and setting goals that are both manageable and sustainable.
Similarly, Marie Kondo’s method of organization prioritizes your individual experience, and it inspires us to live a life surrounded only by things that spark joy. Rooted in Japanese traditions and aesthetic values of living intentionally and minimally, what is unique about the KonMari Method — and truly life-changing — is that once you tidy your space thoroughly and align your behavior to the vision you have for your life, you’ll never have to do it again.
How many of us have spent a Saturday rearranging our closet or finally organizing our junk drawer “once and for all,” only to find it in nearly the same state just months later? It’s a defeating feeling, but a common one, because while we’re changing our environment, we aren’t changing our habits. Yet habits are where life-altering transformation begins, as I’ve seen proven out in my work in the field, in the home and in the office.
My process asks you to peel back the layers of the clutter in your life to understand where it’s stemming from in the first place. The experience is emotional, physical and enlightening, revealing what’s really going on beneath the surface, and providing an opportunity for you to change those circumstances for the better – and for good. As we transform what’s going on inside of us, the physical space around us shifts, too…once and for all.
I’ve seen the powerful impact that even a little organization can make on our lives. But once we begin to organize, if we don’t organize everything, we eventually lose traction and the joy, peace and calm we began to enjoy slips away.
You might be thinking...
Your approach sounds great, but this will never work for me.
I’ve cleaned and organized so many times. It never sticks.
I don’t have clutter!
Nothing is bringing me joy right now.
I can’t get rid of things that don’t spark joy. I won’t have anything left!
I don’t have the time or energy this will require.
Sound familiar? Every client I’ve worked with begins this process clinging to one of these beliefs, which are just the result of past tidying gone wrong. That’s why it’s so important to not just sweep through your space, but instead, to go deep into a mindful process to uncover how you’ve created the life around you and what changes you want to experience. When you do, you’ll see what you’ve really been holding onto – and being held back by.
When you put the time into completing this process, you’ll receive time in return. How? Because you’ll minimize roadblocks and simplify processes in your daily life that create more stress than this process ever will. You’ll create new, mindful habits that support and sustain the change you’ve established. And you won’t be alone; I’ll be there with you the entire way. As your coach, my work is to support you until your vision is achieved.
Are you ready to wake up in the morning in a peaceful bedroom?
Are you ready to walk into a closet filled only with your favorite clothes?
Are you ready to step into an organized office where energy and inspiration feel boundless?
Are you ready to remove the term ‘junk drawer’ from your vocabulary entirely?
Then let’s begin, my friend. Your journey to a life that sparks joy starts now.
